The colder weather is yet to be seen, and the Holidays are just around the corner.
One of my favorite things to do this time of year is to go see all of the beautiful lights and Enjoy Holiday events!
The cooler weather, and the variety of unique local experiences that go with it, makes it the PERFECT time to be outside enjoying this beautiful Florida weather with your family.
Whether you are looking for a boat or street parade to watch or a local Holiday event to enjoy, we have put together this list of fun, festive events for you to enjoy with your family the next couple of weeks.
Main Street, Safety Harbor
The annual parade includes floats, antique cars, firetrucks and a visit from Santa.
The Dunedin Express Dec 20 - Dec 22 Rides at 5, 6:30 & 8pm

Tickets are $15/person, children under 2 are free and must sit on parent's lap
Old Fashioned Christmas & Holiday Parade Dec 10th 4-9pm
Main Street Dunedin
Watch Santa arrive during the holiday street parade, then stay downtown for carriage rides, train rides, snow slide, kids crafts, old fashioned games, s'mores, live music, entertainment and "snow flurries!" Parade begins at 4pm on Douglas Ave, from Beltrees to Skinner. Activities Map Click Here

Florida Botanical Gardens, 12520 Ulmerton Rd, Largo
The gardens are lit up every evening with holiday lights. There will also be visits from Santa Claus and nightly free entertainment. Suggested donation is $4 for visitors aged 13 or older.

Holiday Inn Harbourside, 401 Second St, Indian Rocks Beach
Motor boats, sailboats, canoes and even rowboats will take part in this parade.
Treasure Island Lighted Boat Parade
Saturday Dec 19 at 6pm
The Club at Treasure Island, 400 Treasure Island Causeway
40+ boats will participate in this " Las Vegas on Water " themed parade. Bring an unwrapped toy or cash donation for admission to the Pre-parade poolside party. Treasure Island Bridge will close to traffic at 7pm for 30-45 min to allow parade to pass.

Ice skating on an outdoor rink under palm trees in 80-degree weather. Cost is $12.

Busch Gardens, 3605 Bougainvillea Ave, Tampa
Millions of twinkling lights transform the park into a holiday wonderland. Entertainment is Christmas-themed, Santa Claus is available for photos (included with admission) and festive treats and holiday shopping.

Glazer Children's Museum, 110 W Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa
Play inside your favorite Museum exhibits decked with a dazzling light show, seasonal music and holiday cheer. Admission is $15, $10 for members.
Twinkle in Tampa Bay Boat Parade
Wednesday Dec 21 at 6:30pm
Channelside Bay Plaza, 615 Channelside Drive Tampa
Parade is along the water by Davis Islands, Harbor Island and the Channelside district.
Whitfield Park at Starkey Ranch- Free Admission & Parking Dec 9th 6-9pm
Family-friendly event in the first neighborhood village, Whitfield Park! Sounds of Late Night Brass, 12 piece band- enjoy games, food, fun, photos with Santa and much more. There is a 100% chance of SNOW!
Dec 19-20 from 10am-4pm
Crews Lake Wilderness Park, 16739 Crews Lake Dr Spring Hill
Take the annual Christmas train ride to the North Pole. Ride trains though the park, visit Santa Claus in his cabin with Mrs. Claus and take photos with Santa himself.

The Shops at Wiregrass, 28211 Paseo Dr Wesley Chapel
All-new holiday light show choreographed to the music of the Trans Siberian Orchestra. This Year it will even snow. Ice Skating is also available through Jan 3.
